      ... counter, we later found out they were just there for storage reasons but hey we enjoyed them... So at the late hour of 9.30pm but after a 9hr session I exited stage right and left the boys with muted jeers of the club opens at 11pm until 4am..! Good luck boys I thought and walked back home... I believe it was 3am that they returned weary from their outstanding efforts..!!! Needless to say the golf the day following was ...

      ... shades of blue and green, totally amazing…..so we took a load more pictures!


      All in all we have had a brilliant 9 days on this site, the only real downside was the wind which gusted so strong at times that we felt that the van would get blown over! It also meant that we didn’t sleep very well for most of our stay, but I guess you can’t have it all eh?


      We are now off to do our second workaway on an olive farm…..wish us luck!!!!

      “Oh we’re off to sunny Spain”……The time had come for us to leave our beloved France where we felt comfortable, could understand the language and read the road signs. We needed to head to Spain for the warmer climate, more campsites that are open all year and another two workaways that we had booked.

      ... of each castell, reinforcing the community spirit and the inclusiveness that is so much a feature of castells.

      With 18 teams to introduce, all of whom needed to find their allotted areas and get themselves ready, with faixas to put on and the orientation and location of the key castellers to work out, the entrance took quite a while and the excitement and noise built up quickly. It looked like we were in for an excellent day.
