... VERY narrow roads, I find a park and we walk back. Lunch first, yummy as always and then we go in search of the museum where the Bayeux Tapestry is kept. We get sidetracked by the Cathedral and spent almost an hour in there reading about Saint Therese of Lisieux - very interesting. Our train left right on time from Caen, but we were a little delayed, and ended up sitting on the track in Lisieux while officials removed a tree that had apparently fallen on the train track during some passing storms. I contacted our transport with Suntransfers to let them know that we would be delayed, and gave them our train number so that they could better estimate when to pick us up. Alas my lunch w/ Les had to end, but we planned for another get together in Paris and one in good ol' Hermosa Beach, where she'll be visiting later this summer.
Mike and I crossed the bank of the Siene to take in St. Chapelle. Small, but gorgeous and the stained glass is beautiful. We tried to take in the nearby Palace of Justice (Mike was anxious to see the inside museum torture chambers
