... We landed around 4 and had to shove through crowds to get to the bathroom. We had a little bit of time before our 6:00 flight so we decided to get some food. Just over the border in Vermont, we passed through the quiet little village of Bennington. Specialty cafes, vintage shops, and beautiful churches should be on the brochure for this town. Huge trees shaded the sidewalks that were dotted with flower-filled urns. It personified a New England village.

... and Joerg's visit was so much fun and we were able to see so much. I loved the Terra Cotta Warriors, and the Yangtze cruise. Power shopping with my niece Kathleen and seeing her natural bargaining abilities was fantastic.

I was in a meeting earlier this week when I saw someone zip past outside the window to the car park, just from the shoulders up. My immediate thought: "Superman flies upright now, I see. Oh no, wait, he's on a Segway. It's all good."

Apparently our CEO is friends with the guy who invented Segway. Whose office is just near ours. And he flies his helicopter to work and lands ...
