We laughed at the pot holes. And the best part? We made friends with a lovely Romanian couple and their adorable baby girl. They introduced us to homemade Palinka (!!!), and warned us about the gypsies in Bucharest. And we drank beer! Just the ticket!
Highlights that come to mind are Jamie's pants being blown off the line during the night. Then in the morning heading out to the market to buy a fishing rod to reel them back in and succeeding!
Going on a dodgy banana boat for the first time and finding ourselves surrounded by jellyfish while we fought to hold on for dear life.

Overall we cut our time in Varna short as there was not much to see or do, and most places were deserted and museums not open. It is only a place to go to in summer if you are looking for beaches and non stop ...
