Camden & Rockport, Maine
Left Dave & Julie's about noon today, and they suggested we drive out to the coast and see the quaint little villages of Rockport and Camden, as we headed north towards Acadia National Park. Camden and Rockport were indeed pretty little coastal towns, but we didn't stop. We got such a late start, and we really wanted to make it to Bar Harbor before dark.

Had a reservation to stay with Dave & Julie in Jefferson, Maine at their home on Damariscota Lake. A wonderful couple and excellent hosts who have been Evergreen Members for about 7 years, and were so down to earth and comfortable to be with - like we'd known them for years. Needed to see what it would take
... We also found beautiful harbors full of sail boats. It was so peaceful and the sun shining on it made it very pretty.
The coast lines were very rocky not a place where you would most likely go to sit on the beach, but we did see those also.
Drove around the park a little and then started the drive back to the campsite.
