Dixie and I went on yet another adventure to the Town of Owls Head, Maine capturing the true heart of this Coastal Community. Lobster. We learned that the Lobstermen of these parts pull out there Lobster traps and buoys just before winter because of the harsh weather conditions consistently staying in the teens and well into the negative temperatures. With the temp in the 20s all day we are READY to get going. Still getting things loaded in the RV and have scheduled eye doctor and dentist visits to be as sure as we can be that we are healthy and ready for several months 'out of Dodge'.

Packing camp this morning, we remark how most people who come to Camden stay in picture perfect B&B's or gloriously romantic victorian inns. We laugh at this as we put away our tin coffee maker, Coleman lantern and roll up our tent and know that food tastes even better out in the wild. Amazingly, we have another fantastic day of sunshine and warmth, with zero humidity. Superb weather.

We are up early and decide to visit the summit of Mt. Battie, an 800' ...
