(yep - off the shelf), palace, church and a huge race track where they do trials (we could hear them in the background). It was like a rabbit warren in a way, but going up instead of down.

We went for an early morning walk to see the sunrise the next day. It was magnificent!

... we were glad when we arrived in Rimini.

It rained the first few days we were here, but the past 2 days of sunshine have made up for it! Our hostel has great rooms but a really awful atmosphere, so we were so glad when the sun came out and we could spend all day at the beach, or in the town. Relaxing in the sun is just what we've needed! I'm still embarrassingly white though. I'd even call it offensively white. It's going to take more than 2 days of sun to bring me even to human ...

Am nächsten Morgen - nach Frühstück - Aufbruch nach Assisi - ca. 15 min. Fahrzeit. Da d** Parkplatz am Fuss des B**ges liegt auf dem die Stadt liegt - kurzes "Schlucken" - ab** in 10 min. warn wir beim Dom - dann ar wied** alles ok !
Assisi - eine wirklich wund**schöne alte Stadt , in die ich demnächst sich** mal auf läng** zurückkommen w**de.

... front. The beach is broken into sections each section has a restaurant, sporting stuff (basketball hoops, Volleyball, Gyms, etc.) lounge chairs and umbrellas. Some even have an outdoor gym. The beach is actually sand, which is a novelty for Italy. We picked up some of the free bikes from the hotel and rode all around the city. ... There is the most incredible sheen to them; some are from the 3rd - 4th centuries AD, and yet they look like they were created yesterday. Pretty much everything else in Europe has been - as Mat so delicately puts it - "covered in cherubs and gilt!", and it's unexpected to find a place so untouched through the Renaissance.

Next time we will make a few days for this lovely town.

We left for Urbino after breakfast for a quick trip (Birth place of Raffaello - painter) of course coffee & gelati was part of our plans with some sights thrown in.

Nice place and worth the trip. No time to view the museo a bit of a shame as there is a section with Rafael.

We had some great views going over the mountains going to/from Urbino. Mandy is handling driving the larger car just fine.

... the start. It was every show, not just the odd one. They were truly amazing and probably the best we’ve had yet. I imagine the finale was what it must be like at a rock concert - they rushed down the front dancing and screaming...all for me of course...and the rush it gave was brilliant.

Tuesday 2nd June. We set off as the sun began to show through and leaving Mugello followed 5 massive trucks with the Moto Gp logo on them so they were off to the next racetrack site, like geeks we videoed this. We headed towards Tavulia and arrived at valentino Rossi's hometown md morning.The small town had 46 flags flying along the main road and we found the Rossi cafe where we had a coffee of which my cappuccino had 46 inscribed in the froth!!The cafe ...
