Didn't do much but I met up with a girl named Lelé from couchsurfing who was really cool and we hung out and ate lunch with her friends, who were also cool. I played them a bunch of music and then went back to the hostel to chill with a bunch of Israelis. We went to a club where we met a group of girls and then we went to a house party where I stayed until 5 am. Late ...

While in Machu Picchu, we had discussed drugs with our guide, Jose. Obviously drugs are a problem (whether Peru's or the U.S.’s, I will let you decide). The U.S. is pushing Peru to eradicate the coca crop, but the plant and the leaves are sacred to the indigenous peoples. They ...

... the Miraflores district - a seaside suburb with surfers, statues and outdoor fitness equipment everywhere. As a place it contains a mix of people. The older generation seem interested in Brad┤s bleached hair, the youngsters seem to all make a living driving taxis, adding to the hubbub on the roads through the city.

Day 2 saw a visit to the Catacombs of Museo de San Francisco with the preserved bones of 70,000 people which made ...
