We wandered through the main plaza, the library (where do they keep the books??), the residential neighborhood, till we came to the parklands along the coast (still high above the shoreline). ... through Auckland airport and just making it to the gaterms. As within 5 minutes of sitting down in our seats the plane was already taxiing away from the gate to the runway.
