Had a bit of bad news today in that the Autopilot system is on the way out. Best estimate is it will work for one week to six months. Problem is that the humidity and resulting condensation over time have caused corrosion to start forming on some critical electrical components. Parts for this unit are no longer available (of course) so there is nothing for it but to buy and install a completely new unit at $2500USD plus labour. ...
