Cruise Day 2 began with a beautiful, bright and sunny day as we cruised into St Croix. The water is an amazing, beautiful, clear blue! Zachary's letter made Jamie smile. We brought Jamie breakfast in bed before we disembarked to walk around Frederiksted. We walked along the boardwalk and admired ...

Later, we actually ended up moving back to where we stayed the first time at Sand Castle on the Beach (our favorite and where we fell in love).

It was a Cessna fitted out for 10 passengers - 11 if you put one in the co-pilot's seat. Which they did...yup...our co-pilot was a passenger. fortunately, our 12 year old pilot handled the plane quite well and delivered us to an even smaller airport on St. Croix. We could tell that St. Croix was different from St. Thomas immediately. not ...

... before departure a reefed main but dismissed the idea without fully considering what bearing it could have on our ability to catch fish. Now we were thinking maybe the full main wasn't such a good idea.

Approaching St. Croix, still in deep water, the wind slacked a bit; Dave was cleaning weeds off with more regularity now. Then a double dolphin hookup! We both jumped on the drags and Dave punched the autopilot up 20 degrees ...
