Graf zu Ysenburg und Buedingen Platz 1 Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, 63263, 69-389880
Again it seems to be an escape from the inevitable. But somehow I actually think it's way more than that.

Why do I think that? I'm sure you are wondering what special thing happened at the end of my last entry in the first world trip ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany silberregenIt was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany sofenjon... agent and encountered my first, stern, mean German official's disgusted look and firm point up the stairs. There are signs in English and arabic numbers but they are not exactly numerous or clear, but I find my way to some signs indicating the way to Gate B 62. On my way, I locate a duty free shop that sells wine and after much effort at trying to find an Australian Syrah, I finally settled on something that might be a cab from Italy ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany dsauter... the hookers seemed to still be waiting for the American GI’s. It was raining and dreary, but soon to change when Erik’s cousin, Nadine, and boyfriend, Flo, picked us up to take us to their home town outside the big city near the Tanus Mountains. We had a wonderful visit, them taking us to a traditional German restaurant where we tasted fresh apple wine. We topped it off with a visit to their apartment. What a great way to end the trip!
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany the_stamms... to take pictures from 200 meters above the city. In the lobby, they proceeded to completely search my backpack--the big one with ALL my stuff in it--before letting me up the tower, despite the rapidly-developing line behind me looking none-too-pleased. I asked, "What, no colonoscopy?" I don't think they got the joke. Oh and they charged 5 euro to go up. I took a shitload of pictures; I wanted my time-and-money's worth.
My ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany jtbo... us. Now its just a matter of not going to sleep until we can get on the plane. Hard. Just want to sulk and whinge and lay on the ground. Sleepy as a *******. Shane says: This week we got pretty good at the power shower; it seemed that the storm clouds would always roll in straight after lunch, just before our bathing/walking time. It was a daily (or every second day if we were lazy) race against the clock to boil the water and have an outdoor shower before the wind carrying the ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany shanemilli... there would be extra pay for inter-rail travellers. But no. You can just walk on to an ICE (Inter City Express) train. As long as the seat is not booked by someone, you can just sit and go. Now I have the prospect of getting out of Germany before next week. My plan is to work my way through Italy to the Croatian coast in the north of country ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany jeremyhill... people there I feel like I would now fit it. What is more the festival of Tenerife comes soon and furthermore the Tenerife Ladies Golf Open - something I really cannot wait for, an exciting tournament in a gorgeous place. The eternal spring weather of Tenerife really appeals especially after some very rainy days here in Germany. Also, the fresh sea air and reputedly stunning beaches...I can't wait!
Frankfurt, Germany juliakp... in many languages. We were somewhat worried that Gary's parents would be on the same flight to Istanbul but they were nowhere to be seen. The Turkish Air flight departed on time, Business Class on their 737-800 just consists of a row of coach seats with a table over the middle seat. The service was good and the wine was very nice.
