Day 9: Kanazawa - Higashi Chaya and Kenrokuen

Day 8: Shirakawa-go - Koemon Farmhouse
... ordered a feast of about 10 small dishes of local delicacies. What stood out to us the most was her Hida Beef dish. It was served on top of what I believe is a miso leaf with some tofu and miso paste and this work of art sat on top of a tiny but fiery burner. We salivated as the beef cooked on the leaf while soaking in all the miso sauce. It looked, smelt and tasted unbelievable. Shirakawa-go
... the middle of the room that spread its fumes throughout he whole house. Howvwer you are not allowed to smoke in the whole of the village because of fire risk!
We walked up to the viewpoint and then walked back to our car.
Next we headed to Toyama mainly via tunnels. Our hotel was opposite a temple and pagoda and near the castle. We had a walk around, idenified a place to eat but decided to just get some snacks instead as we we both tired.

Either we ordered something the locals usually don't or he just wasn't expecting the business as he had to pop out to pick up more stuff.
