We were invited out with some of the staff on Tuesday night to Laowi Town to a quiz night which was good fun. We then met Silvie, the CP at Munchner Biergarten, the German bar on Wednesday and the Italian restaurant Thursday evenings.

Ningbo is a lovely city, built on 5 rivers, so was a trading post and from the hotel room you can watch the barges go up and down the river. There are loads of fantastic bars and restaurants and it is now quite trendy.

... asleep on the job so the bar closed! Perronis....remember the bus ride up the mountain on Christmas Eve to Catania? I got to relive it Chinese style! That memory brought smiles to my heart! So we all follow blindly to the 'Light Show'. I simply will NOT be able to describe this experience appropriately. Just no way. We took the bus halfway up and then got out. There are those huge craggily rock cliff mountains...you know - you've seen them in NG - anyway, it is ...

The medical college was nice enough to set up a trip to Yandang Mountain for all of us American students. Three of the Chinese students came with us too. The mountain is about an hour or so outside of Wenzhou and is a UNESCO site, so I really excited to see it after being ...
