    ... way to dinner, Lia noticed that every second car here has a ding in it or paint scraped off the side..... We've earned our Amalfi stripes!

    Minori and Pompeii 25 degrees, sunny

    Another beautiful day in Minori as we endeavour to take care of the last thing on our list for this area - Pompeii. We are taking the car out for the 16 km drive to Vietri and then along the motorway to Pompeii, the modern town. I actually enjoyed the winding drive today, I can understand how people get used to the way it works. It is a great drive.

    Minori – 25 degrees, sunny

    Today we have 3 goals, some time in Amalfi, a visit to Ravello and the meeting at Maiori. Sounds easy. We will see!

    An early morning walk for the photographer up about 500 steps whets the appetite and gets the heart and legs pumping. Not necessarily in a good way. The views of Minori are worth it though as is the view upwards towards Ravello.

    ... beautiful period Inn with a magnificent view from our balcony of the Mediterranean Sea & Sorrento. Then at 5 went in mini buses to the most beautiful township Posittano ...housing up the cliff faces. The road combed around the peninsular...often cars parked along side of road...scary . The township had the most amazing shops lovely to go back and buy some of their most exquisite clothing and ceramics etc. Then back to hotel for a 4 course meal. ...
