Paris has been Allie's longed- for destination, a well known fact by all who are part of her world. It has lived up to her expectations and I know it will not be her last visit. Europe gets under your skin; it's history, it's architecture, it's style is all intoxicating. Once is never enough, and so it remains in my heart and memories ...

We were packed in with 4 or 5 other ...

... so cute!! An hour in gridlock traffic got us to our tour meeting point outside of the city and we settled in our rooms (I'm bunking with two cute little Aussie girls who are completely clueless, Simon is with a couple of older Aussie guys) before we headed out for dinner. We had snails, French onion soup which were both surprisingly yummy! After that it was onto the ...

... pretty crowded. They have the most amazing kids playground that is huge and has all sorts of play structures. We made it to the fountain in the center where the boats are sailed and for 2 Euros got to sail our own little boat. Between one of us having to go pee, the kids getting hungry, and Emmanuel who threw the worst tantrum in the park, it was probably as stressful as it was enjoyable of a day.

On Sunday we decided to go the Place de la Concorde at one end of ...
