I’m officially in the beautiful city of Paris, sitting in my new apartment. New to me that is, I’m quite sure this place has been around much longer than I’ve been alive. My flight left Sunday evening around 5:15 pm – a straight shot from Cincinnati to Paris. I was a bit nervous about getting on the flight since I was using a buddy pass and flying standby with Delta. However, I not only got a seat on the flight but ...

There was an amazing clock at the end of the building which was obviously there to let the passengers know the time, the roof is beautiful glass to let in the light. We walked along Ave. du President Kennedy, which runs parallel to ...

... was stunning but somewhat less crowded. On the walk back we walked along the Seine. it was very very beautiful. The kids continued to be clingy or bratty but we've come to accept that the Paris we first came to know is not the Paris of lovers that you see in the movies, but a Paris of couples with young kids.

The train ride back was quite a squeeze as well and after getting home, for the first time we felt like we've really seen a little bit of Paris!

... Marx mask could have passed him by, a little different to all such gates so far. We then parked for some food and drink, enjoying some Croques Monsieur (for me) and Mademoiselles (for the ladies). Felt a bit like rarebit, ie. fancy name for cheesy toast, but sat happily with the travellers whose stomachs could handle some filling.

The train was delayed coming to the station, first by 15 mins and then by another ...
