... Cooling off has been difficult to do--it just doesn't seem to stay cool in here.
News on the TV: One phase of the Tour de France ended. The last time Hunter and I were in France, just the two of us, we watched the cyclists as they neared the finish line in front of Notre Dame in Paris. On a sadder note, I saw the a Malaysian Airlines passenger plane was shot down over the Ukraine (I think earlier today). It had left Amsterdam, just like we did two days ago.

... it to the Orange store, which was quite crowded. The tiny little phone boutique couldn't hold anymore people. We decided to go back later. Instead, we went to my favorite tea salon, La Passiflore. Madame remembered me! We ordered our tea: Earl Grey French Blue for me and Buddha Bleu for Hunter. We sat and looked at decorating magazines, drank our tea, and talked. It was very enjoyable and relaxing.

... Hunter and I talked about the Seinfeld episode where he made a reservation, but they didn't have a car for him. "But that's what a reservation is foooooor!!!!" But, alas, she found one. So, I got a free upgrade for a larger Peugeot. Really, I would have preferred a smaller car, but more on that later.

... of the chateau in case of an emergency. At this point tony decided he could take us into town, so we went shopping. We bought insane amounts of food as well as cider, 5 litres of red wine, a slab of beer and a litre of gin. Tony insisted on paying for everything, except the alcohol and snacks, which was incredibly kind of him. When we got home we had a few gin and tonics (many to be honest) ...
... at Café Riche we enjoyed the food market – yummy fruit and vegetables, garlic, we bought several yummy cheeses, and saucissones, plus some cherries, bread and loads of nougat. We had a picnic lunch in the children's park. I also bought two tea towels and some Callissons! We then walked back and tried to drive to Chateauneuf de Pape. However ...
