On the way back to the car we stood in the fountain in the middle of the square it was so good.
Then I was really sad because I wanted to swim at the beach but there were no car parks anywhere so we had to go home as it was tea time and we needed an early night to go for our last dark bike ride in the morning. I was so tired I went straight to sleep
Our day started with a 45 min ride by bus to Pont du Gard, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Just a one kilometre walk and we arrived at the entrance to the large park reserve surrounding the roman aqueduct and housing a large museum. A great weekend for Wellington rugby too with the Hurricanes winning

... reason still unknown we paid the parking tickets as we went
down to pack the cars, so did the plan change no… We all got into the cars,
left the car park drove around to the entrance and went back in again basically
to the same car parks – doubles the cost of our parking bill - oh well. We then
went through back up to the Arena and took ourselves on the audio tour which
was really interesting, by now the sun had decided to show its true strength
