very relaxing holiday trip, living the good life. Did a round across the island, but mostly spent our time at the beach or in Willemstad.

... kan bestille den som bok, og derfor har vi prøvd å skrive så ofte vi har fått til.
Nå skal vi ned på stranden og nyte de siste timene med sol og bading før vi må reise til flypassen. Ganske utrolig at 5 uker med ferie snart er over, og vi føler oss heldige som har hatt mulighet til å tatt denne turen og fått oppleve alt vi har opplevd.
Vi har faktisk hatt hele 525 besøkende pr. skrivende stund på bloggen vår, noe vi synes er ganske morsomt. Så takk til alle som har fulgt oss.

... at det fikk bli siste gang på grunn av deres elendige service. Tilbake på Wet&Wild Beach Bar fant vi en av sikkerhetsvaktene på hotellet vårt, så vi hang med han og vennen hans den kvelden. Stemningen i baren var på topp hele kvelden, og Curacao's DJ Boogieman som forøvrig var meget dyktig snurret plater til de sene nattetimene. Vi vet egentlig ikke helt når kvelden ble avsluttet, men gøy hadde vi det!

... our 'usual' bar, but it hadn't happened on this ship yet. For example, on the Braemar we always ended the evening in the Skylark Club for the quiz; on any of Cunard's Queens we go to the Golden Lion and on the Arcadia we used to go to the same table in the Rising Sun. But on the Ventura we were like lost souls, with no particular place to go. :-(

Our next port was Willemstad, Curacao. Russ and I fell in love with this island. We were picked up by the dive company Atlantis Diving and taken to their shop (and given a tour of the town on the way) and geared up to do some shore diving. The shore diving here at Curacao and Bonaire is fantastic because the first 100 yards is sandy and 10 to 30 feet deep then drops off steeply along a wall filled with coral and fish but still ...
