    ... No big deal.

    We reserved a rental car for the day and it was ready to go at our scheduled time of 9:00 AM. We headed out of town and drove northwest to Christoffel National Park. The park is located on the far northwest of the island.

    ... the tour, wandered the Otrabanda, saw the Venezuelan floating market. Curacao is only 40 miles from Venezuela, so many people bring their fruits and veggies over here to sell. Walked across the pontoon bridge, that swings open to let ships through. Then caught a tuk-tuk back to the ship.
    Between the humidity, the stairs at the caves, and the explorations of the floating market and old town we were 2 tired puppies.... time to call it a day.

    ... out yard did have a mechanic on the premises however, and he was very helpful with any questions Ray put to him. Given it was Christmas time, we gave the mechanic and his assistant a Christmas gift (a cold slab of beer of course) which we had to wrap as best we could in garbage bags because we didn't have any Christmas wrapping paper. You can see the result of our artistic wrapping in the photo gallery.

    In the meantime, whilst waiting for the parts ...
