... The lake was lovely today. The further out you go the clearer the water it was lovely and warm towards the surface and cool but not cold underneath. It was very easy to swim in no current no waves no salt I reckon given enough time I could swim the whole lake but it would take while I don't think you could rush anything here! The park was fun. ...

We had to catch a bus from the nearby town of Strobl to go into Salzburg and it took almost an hour it could have been longer but Mr T(aka Roy Cropper) kept us and the bus driver on track. Salzburg is beautiful the buildings are vet symmetrical and the architecture of and inside the churches and cathedrals is amazing. Even the kids are impressed. Charlotte has taken to being a photographer some her pictures are fantastic ...

Also met some fellow Perth people, one of whom had never seen snow before so had just built his first snowman ... with his bare hands! Crazy man! We took a photo of course.

Next, we headed back down the mountain to have a late lunch ...

... the city and see some of the sites, and try some delicious chocolate!! YUM! I also had the chance to hike a bit around Hoher Göll. This mountain is actually the same mountain as Hitler's Vacation home. I must admit there is something certainly disturbing about how tourist-y this place is. There is no doubt a strong curiosity the people have to come and visit the place where Hitler came to relax, and it seems odd to me that that seems to be the main reason ...
