    Today was another day where plans fell through, Brendan nearly died and we ended up freezing at a bus stop in the middle of nowhere- but not all was lost.

    Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though... I think I heard a "bright copper kettles and warm ...

    ... to the lake visiting all the shops on the way. There were trinket shops, cuckoo clock shops and of course lederhosen shops! We visited the church of St Wolfgang which was amazing with a very famous altar. Amazing. We then had an ice cream which was good. The only down side was the 1 in 4 hill we had to scale on the way back. The afternoon was spent at or in the lake and the evening finished with pasta, pizza and a bottle of red!     ... the lobby, and hand over our keys to the receptionist. Ma and Pa Lee have drunk their mini-bar dry, so they settle their bill.
