Udaipur, Rajasthan, India trast... of the merchants that nowadays remain in quite bad shape. It is a visit to the wild India, whithout Western frills, where one can still appreciate how days go by unaltered by tourism, and be delighted and amazed to check how the country works despite the chaos present everywhere and in every single task. But this sort of visits always ends up paying a high toll, as there are barely any tourists and one has to do like the locals, and after some hours it ...

You all know me and my birds ...
Udaip, Rajasthan, India tiggerlotThe only good thing I can tell you about India so far is that it has been a HUGE challenge for me as I feel Unsafe, Lacking, Unequal and Separated. I know that all challenges are "blessings in waiting" and I'm sure some huge blessings will follow sooner or later. In the meantime, whenever I remember, I'm practicing being kind and loving towards myself and others. Breathe.
Udaipur, India yorron... meals already. It is a small converted haveli that is a bit like a terrace house with a very narrow-laned entrance. Inside it's funky Indian in decor. The main courtyard is a deep blue with Indian red doors and a huge banana like green palm tree (very healthy) and a massive bouganvillea. The walls went up 3 stories and there were 2 staircases that took you up to the upper floors. Gorgeous lah!!!!! And to add to that - they serve PASTA! ahahahahahahh I've had ...

Walking back through town all I heard was "Katie, Katie" from men (Pesky Man must have told everyone my name) - it was like being a celebrity but without the good bits (nice clothes, money etc). It had been enough to reduce me to tears and without having the group there i would have gone home there and then. I was so tired of being ...
