Another travel day from Bordeaux to Rennes. Rennes is heading west and close to the west coast. The reason for going to Rennes is it is about an hour away from the famous Mont Saint Michel, and has a dedicated direct bus.
It was such a nice sunny day and the lovely green countryside made the time pass quickly. I arrive into Rennes about 5.30pm and head to my accommodation.

DAY SEVEN - FRIDAY We left After a reasonable night's sleep considering the slope and set off to spend some money in Rennes - IKEA and the Camping Car Shops! IKEA first where we treated ourselves to a king size duvet as our existing double leaves Mike with a cold back as he says I pinch it during the night but I reckon he throws it my way when he tosses and turns. We took ages trying ...

... to motorbikers everywhere I went, pulling to the side and waving me by as soon as I approached from behind - Irish drivers take note! Just when I thought I had seen my last mountain top of the journey we happened again upon some unexpected, if not-so-high, cols on the way to Figeac. And so we continued into the French countryside past farm lands and sun baked, blackened sunflower fields. In an obscure backwater in central France ...
