    ... and hand wash everything in the sink. Not the most relaxing day, but clean clothes are nice! While the drive today was absolutely breathtaking, it was nerve-racking as well.     ... mountains. The water of the Soca River is bright turquoise and absolutely beautiful! The town we are in tonight, Bovec, is very small. The apartment is nothing to get excited about, but it's only 1 night and it's relatively inexpensive! We have loved every minute of our travels in Slovenia. It was all but destroyed during the war with 54 air raids conducted as it was seen as a strategic rail and supply route.     ... knew how to respond quickly to calls of 'left' and 'right'. Then with everyone trained, we pushed the rafts down the bank and into the Sava River. It was an exciting ride, not the most challenging rafting trip I have ever been on, but a good introduction for Sam and Blake. When the trip was over, we were picked up again by our German speaking driver and swept rapidly back into town.
