We booked with Desafio and for $32 we got transportation to and from, all day access (but only one transport up and down per day) and a dinner with starter, entree and dessert. I had steak and it was awesome. The water pools had varying temperatures, it wasn't overly busy and the water slides were a blast.

Very useful to stay in a hotel with hot springs and drinks at reasonable prices being served inside the pool. The room is simple but nice. The outdoor part of the hotel is huge and green with many options to entertain tourists from frogs, to crocodiles. It was a pleasant stay.

This is an amazing resort. The geothermal pools were fabulous; although we used them excessively, we never became inured to the pleasure we felt. There was so much to do there. We did hikes, rented an ATV and enjoyed the food both at the resort & the surrounding area.

Happy birthday Momma! But I think we might need an arc to get out of here cause it hasn't stopped raining at all. This morning as we get ready to go the guide Pamela gives us the heads up that if the roads are too bad we might have to walk for portions of the trip and if it's really bad carry our luggage too. Not a problem with me except that I'm a …

... place and the opportunity of a life time. Pura Vida! •Addition• On our way to dinner, Minor yells something in Spanish and the bus comes to a complete halt. He runs out if the bus as we're confused as to what's going on. There was a sloth in the middle of the road that he was trying to save. So, he PICKS IT UP (like a mom dog would pick up a puppy) and it stretches out like superman and he moves it to the other side of the road to a tree ...

... Tons of fresh fruits and veggies! My sandwiches have become, fresh goat cheese from the local farm with onion, red cabbage, red pepper, carrot, lettuce, tomato, one whole avocado, black or red bean spread, and mayo w/ lime on wheat. Yes they are a little messy, but quite good if I do say so myself. We cook our own beans, make our own salsa, and bake lots of banana and zucchini bread for snacks. The girls are actually getting used to having beans and rice all of the time, and they ...
