... This evening, we went down to Balatonfured to take in a wine festival filled with wine, beer, and food. We tried some sugared bread, and also a slice of what Thomas told us was Onion Bread. It was actually bread with lard and onions on it. I had a bit of a shock when I learned it was lard because it was dark out and it looked like cheese to me, but I ate it all and it was pretty good! I don't think I'll have another one anytime soon though.

The Cabin and Karad
This morning we went to the Metro Supermarket in Gyor to pick up a few things we would need for our stay in Budapest.
Thomas and Eva drove us to their cabin, which is about 12 km outside of Gyor. On the way there we stopped at a wine cellar where we had a taste of the local wine and a look around underground. ... Hosteleigenen "Aussenbar" und lernen zudem noch einen supernetten Ami, Casey, kennen und eine Niederlaenderin, Tessa. Wir verbringen den Abend Floecc trinkend, quasi Weinschorle auf Ungarisch mit eigenem ungarischen Weisswein und erkunden das Oertchen dann noch ein wenig. Ausserdem gibt es im Hostel ein Gulash nach muttis REzept, in einem riesigen KEssel ueber offenem Feuer stundenlang durchgekocht. Lecker Lecker!!! Wir haben viel Spass zusammen, ...
