The Friday afternoon traffic wasn't too bad as we arrived in Zurich. The only issue we had was that the road authorities were making the most of the summer weather and there was construction work happening on many roads. This included the road our hotel was on - there were benefits in this as well as there was no through traffic so was quieter. We off loaded our bags and checked in then returned the rental car. They have made me the person I am today and each of our shared experiences have enriched my life. That, I wouldn't trade for ...

... happen to it. I told Andrew that I have learnt from my Paris experience and now know how to reverse park a car. He did not find this funny! Cars on the Paris streets do not seem to stick rigidly to the lane markings. There is a fair amount of beeping and a few times there were some strong angry words with some fiercer beeping. When pedestrians cross the road at designated crossings sometimes you have to push your case otherwise the cars may ignore you and keep going on ...
