... and best loved mountain trails in the Tirol. As the name suggests, this trail takes you high into the peaks, giving you a bird's eye view of some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The photos speak for themselves about today. We could not believe when we woke up what a glorious morning we had. Breakfast at the guest house was simple buy delicious, bread rolls, cold meat, cheese, good coffee. There were a number of Japanese and Chinese staying at the gust house, I think we were the only European. Going to the lake we caught the bus, as we had the Berchtesgaden card it was free. This meant walking to the train station which was only 550 ...

... to get dressed and oaks with vivid green foliage the first to be ready for summer. The houses were also close to the line or perched on gentle rolling hills with the dark granite mountains looming over them. They were typical alpine houses, often quiet large with dark wooden verandas and small gabled windows. Our guest house ( it was only 550 meters from the station,) as it was raining, and we were not ...
