    Great hotel with fantastic views

    We have a third floor room with a view to die for. We had dinner in the restaurant tonight... great meal and wonderful service. Very memorable.

    ... the way back to Zurich, and then when we arrived back to Lara's house a few of her friends came over and we started drinking! Of corse! Haha My hat was very funnily used by everyone and we had such fun with it! We went to a party, all 6 of us but it was pretty lame.     ... in Murren, the only operating hotel in this off-season, was virtually empty. The crunching of snow and ice under our feet is the only sound - so very peaceful and quiet. I could not get enough of the views out our bedroom window and outdoor patio: too cold to use now. I chose to spend a lot of time at the Hotel to get the changing sunlight ...

At the top, a station called Birg we have to get out of one cabe car and transfer to another, which will take us higher, to the top of the mountain as we have not known it before.     ... NOT invest CHF 71 to go to the top. Yep, 71 francs and that was half price because of our Swiss card.
