... It's incredibly green. We think we're going to escape from the really black bits away to our left... but then the road suddenly bends round to head straight at them. We brace ourselves and disappear into a wall of water! The Raven's famed aerodynamics can only do so much to save us and soon we're feeling like proper Camino pilgrims without our capes. Guy keeps the Raven's revs down and he battles his way through it for the best part of an hour. Thank goodness for ...

There is a glacial river which takes water from the eiger, jungfrau and monach mountains which are the three biggest in the area. (I was in Switzerland, I was practically obligated to get one!) And ...

... another of my favourite locations, an English Pub! It was in fact the Lady Hamilton / Lord Nelson Pub and while they didn’t have Guinness on tap, they did have Murphy’s which is also a fantastic Porter Stout (made in County Cork). I had one pint for a bit of a “late afternoon refreshment” but limited myself to one pint as they were Ch$9 each! One of the Barmen was from Manchester and the other from Ireland.

I finally made it to ...

... of young men and women swimming around the river and lake. They all looked nice and cool.

After the ride, I got dinner at an Italian bistro. I spent the meal sifting through a photography book of Sofia Loren. It showed her entire career and had photos of her working with a young Marlon Brando. I wanted to go back to the hostel to refresh before I left for a music festival, so I headed back and finally met a couple of girls ...
