Hotel De Geneve Geneva

As a hotel guest, they give me ticket for free travelling around the city. The city separated by the lake. Almost every shops selling watches. I don't understand why people buy expensive watch which the same value to buy a car. can any one tell me?.

Still, Geneva is striking both in how expensive and how unadorned it is (thank the Calvinists for that) so I'm thinking the new plan is to get over to Eastern Europe as quickly as possible.  At least if I get ripped off there, it'll be in a beautiful and/or rustic setting, by either by a bent cop or a gangster with kalashnikov, all of which makes for better storytelling than parking half a block from where I was supposed to.

... on a different street. LOL, LOL, LOL our hotel was right across the street and we missed it. It took us over 2 more hours of misery to find it again. Not a good start. Tempers are short. Our Hotel was Etap Hotel kind of a euro Red Roof in. Nothing fancy. If you priced out Hotels in Geneva you would see why. Very bland and French, with one of the poorest breakfasts we had over here. It was clean but no frills we only had 1 towel each no hand ...
