For the 30-minute encounter, I met the rays in waist-dept water where they surrounded me and even touched my legs urging me to feed them. They ate out of my hands as I pat their silky wings.

I stopped two more times to have my picture taken with the "Indians" (there were often characters near the gangway that you would have pictures taken with).
