... in time, otherwise we would have to wait for an extra hour. When we reached the island the first thing for us was to get a place to stay, and after looking for a while we found a cheap place for MXN 250. It was very basic, but we didnīt need much.

We were actually doubting if to go to Cozumel Island but we met a guy while visiting the Cenote Ik-Kil who seemed to be a professional diver and he told us that it was the best place to dive in ...

Days 48 - 50 (Miercoles 30 Octubre - Viernes 1 Noviembre) We caught the ferry from playa Del Carmen to Cozumel. It worked out well as we had to wait only 10 minutes to get out of this crazy touristy playground. Some people love Playa but for us it didn't seem like a place we wanted to stay. ... to that thanks. The weather has been lovely, even though it's been forecast as cloudy. Simon's finding it a bit too hot and is sweating a lot. He keeps needing to lie down in the air conditioning. I think he prefers snow to sun. He's also been bitten a lot by mosquitoes and his bites are getting on his nerves. I've been bitten a couple of times, mainly round my ankles. The food is good - there is a breakfast buffet ...

... easier to find those type of chefs. At 150, we had a variety of dishes and nothing stood out, even the dessert. The other thing which I absolutely hate is when a restaurant tries to pass itself off as a place for wine and the wine menu doesn't even state the vintages for any of their wines. To me thats a crime.

Enjoyed our last night of the first week by retiring early. So no last night big parties.
