... and they pretty much kicked him off, the jobsworth facist women-haters. We were quite depressed with ourselves considering we then had to pay out another £76 to get down to London, but I guess if this is the worst of our travel cock-ups for a seventh moneht world trip I guess we should 'quit the *****in....'
Bangor, Wales, United Kingdom thegaddabouts... the beach and had sandwiches amongst the pidgeons - some guy left his sandwich for about 10 seconds to get something from the bar and at least 20 pesky birds were on it in seconds!
Then we visited Machynlleth - known as the spiritual capital of Wales - home of the last Welsh led parliament in the 1400s. We were lucky enough to visit on market day - Josh spoiled me with a small dragon charm for my necklace and also a Welsh ...
... a laugh when there is ice about. The house looks out over the bay and the lights were starting to twinkle in the distance.
I hadn't been there before, and I was immediately glad we hadn't decided to camp. There were birds of prey in cages, who disliked the dog, even though he took no interest in them at all. The dog was far more concerned about the exciting smelling cages full of ferrets. His whole body started to quiver as he strained towards the ...

The trip was lovely ...

Group of 25 headed up Snowdon in celebration of Andy Duggards retirment.
Brilliant time was had by all, probably the best retirement I have been on (obviously sponsored by Carlsburg)
Congratulations Andy.
Proved to be a good last workout before we go - calves are feeling the effect though.
Well done to those that completed this mountain for the first time - Scafell next!
... and her general surroundings.
Eventually we came out of the national park and headed for the seaside town of Porthmadog – for no other reason than the name of the place made me laugh. It was just a standard town really, nothing to stop for – so we continued on our journey and went back into the national park, driving through small villages and hamlets until eventually we wind up in Welshpool, where we ...
... and just wanted to leave. It was kinda cool in a school-geeky way. Swallow Falls was the next stop for some spectacular photos. The rain of the day probably made it look even more beautiful. We were quite soaked thru by the time we finished. Randomly driving north again we stopped over some random walking track just to hike as you will. The outlook over the lake and surrounding mountain side added another heap of photos to the camera. We ...
