The morning train ride back to Munich was beautiful and peaceful only a couple of hours long and smooth. After a wee Segway to Kuchstein (getting on the but of the train that went to Innsbruck, we had a pleasant journey to Kuchstein, a shirt wait and a quick journey back to Munich. We arrived just before lunch time and checked into the ArtHotel and again ditched bags and went in the hunt ...

Worst drive ever. Over 500km, pouring with rain, bumper to bumper for 40 km, wrong side of the road. Upgraded to a brand new Mercedes with very little visibility and all sorts of very clever features that we don't know about. But we have arrived at a nice hotel with a pool (best tiles ever) spa and sauna. Free gin and tonic welcome drink. Feeling good now and yeah we are in Munich. Off to see the castles ...

... Bavaria) is that they wear dirndls and lederhosen the way we wear jeans and t-shirts (especially in beer halls). Day two, we had pre-booked a bike tour with "Mike's Bike Tours" for the morning and early afternoon. Before going on the trip a bunch of people had told us they really enjoyed their bike tour in Munich, and I am so glad we decided to do it! It was a great way to see the city! Florence, Venice, and Innsbruck are all much smaller than they look on a ...
