... was only 22 degrees but I decided to be brave and go for a swim. The water was lovely and warm but really salty which makes you very buoyant! We then headed into the port of Vela Luka while we ate lunch - for me a great vegetarian pasta. We had about an hour to walk around the town and then a bus came to take us to our 3 stops for the afternoon. One of the best parts of taking the sail boat was the choose-your-own-adventure aspect to it. Mladen gave us the option of going to Hvar for the night or heading somewhere else. We could pay a slip fee to stay in the marina and be near the action (and techno thumping music all night) or we could anchor for free but would be pretty much stuck on the boat.
