... s a completely different pass from what it was yesterday. I can see all the mountains all around instead of just white mist and so stop on a number of occasions and take photos.
Finally I pull up at the restaurant area which is slightly before the summit but is situated right on a cliff edge where one can see for miles across the massive valley below.

... impossible to see. It’s like being in some kind of ghost movie where one is expecting some large animal or ghost to jump out in front of you.
With the mist blowing through the trees and no lines or markings on this tiny road I have to take it extremely slow. The other problem are fools in vans etc who simply just don't seem to have a brain between their ears and just fly up this road without a care in the world!! I just about got knocked off my bike 3 times by ...

Sitting under the mountains here looking around at the wonderful scenery is just so relaxing. There were big birds flying overhead looking down at their prey. In the distance was a mighty storm brewing in a cutting between two massive mountains. It was just so nice watching it all happen.
Coffee drunk and it’s time to head up the twisty road to Stelvio summit once again which is actually called "Stilfser Joch summit".
