We found a great little confectionery store, and I use that term because It wasn't just chocolates, but had every flavour of turones, licorice and lollies, though they could do with an Allen's selection, and "new" flavours of Lindore like coconut, lime, strawberries and cream, caramel, cookies and cream and and and ...Tomorrow will be a big day; our last and much on the list we hope to see. ... Tom, who rested. They came home with lunch of bread, ham, cheese and lettuce - they had seen a woman buying 3 slices of bread at the shops!! But poor old Tom still wasn't feeling well, and went back to bed without eating. As the rest settled down for a nap, I headed out into the rain to take some "atmospheric" photos. The drizzle didn't affect the crowds, although I really felt sorry for the people having their "gondola trip of a ...

... of tiny 24 carat gold leaf mosaic tiles. A walking tour through Venice took us to our next point of interest, a glassblowers demonstration. Wow!!! I was in awe as we all sat down to watch a master of 25 years blow a glass horse into existence within the space of minutes. The detail was so realistic as he left it on display for us to take a peek at before we were to exit and continue on. If I'd had lots of money I would have ...
