... we found out that we'd walked into a promotion by the Goose Island brewery, who were setting up for the bar to serve their beer. They'd brought several different beers and got the kitchen to create an amuse bouche sized taster dish to go with a tumbler of the beer... and each one was perfect. We ate well and drank tasty beer, with atmosphere to match, it was a really lovely evening, and the highlight of the sampler menu was a great bonus.
