Our flight landed EARLY! in Charlotte at 3:22. We're still flabbergasted that our flight had so few people. We counted only 60 passengers at the baggage pickup area. We're surprised but relieved that it wasn't cancelled. On the downside it took 35 minutes for our baggage to appear in area baggage area after we deplaned. It was tough to leave Zack's place on Wednesday. We will not see him for approximately three months. Sheila was especially sad and cried until we got to Burlington. It is really hitting home that we although Zack is grown, it is hard to leave him after all these years. I'm sure we will keep in touch with him throughout our trip.
