Forgot to post pictures of Arkansas in the previous post. Attached are pictures when we arrive in Arkansas and the roads we travelled. In addition, I posted pictures of the Lake Fort Smith State Park where we stayed. It was an awesome park...our #1 park throughout our travels.

... as I stood a safe distance away. As it turns out it wasn't a venomous snake, actually it wasn't a snake at all. It was a piece of black fabric that coiled in the grass. By this time we had scared the armadillos away. So on our way we continued. We ended up in the town of Eureka Springs and found vacancy at a Comfort Inn. We had such a nice visit this morning with Gayle's sister Glenda and her little grandson Jacob! Then we loaded Zeus in the car, and headed out.

Our first stop was in Tupelo, MS, where we visited Elvis' birthplace. He had lived in a tiny 2 room house which is still on its original site. While the house is the original, the furnishings are not. But still, it is pretty amazing how small it is. ...
