Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.
Not dog friendly.
Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.
Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.
Large sites overall.
Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.
No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.
Will try again during dry season. (maybe)
Jack and I had a good run to Jacksonville from Bozeman. Made it all the way to Lawrenceburg, TN the first day. We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. ... already. Like, tomorrow I will be on a plane on my way to be reunited with my husband FINALLY. This entire week we've been giddy with excitement ending our FaceTime convos with "See you Saturday" in lieu of our normal goodbyes. It's no longer 'goodbye', it's 'see you soon', and for anyone who has had to deal with being separated from a loved one, it's an amazing thing.
I have 25 hours or so of travel that begin early tomorrow morning. Until then.
