... it was 3:30 and we wanted to watch the USA soccer (football) game at 4:00. We found a Buffalo Wild Wings right off the exit, so we were happy until the USA lost.

Tomorrow morning we will complete the final leg to Blacksburg.

By noon, we had gassed up 3 times, been through a rain shower, travelled 307 kms (probably 100 of them in construction zones) and had just finished lunch at Burger King. We all ordered their chicken salad with different kinds of cheeses and kept the young lady in the back ...

... to give us a demonstration. They were about to start the process to create a one-of-a-kind vase. Every step was shown and explained in great detail. We were quite close and could feel the heat of the ovens. In the studio shop we purchased two wine glasses and two shot glasses.
Tomorrow we head for Charleston, the capital of W.V., in pursuit of people interested in a 35 star US flag.
By the way, we ARE on our way to Florida! ...

What a strange morning. It's difficult to see, the fog is so thick. We broke camp and tried to dry things enough to pack up. Todays' trail became so difficult because of all the mud. ... were staying at the farm as well. One night Blossom and I wandered up to the barn and spent a wonderful evening enjoying Cajun fiddle music. I have attached a great picture of two of the attendees who warmed up earlier that evening while sitting in the creek.
