    Went to the calgary stampede for the day. Had to catch bus and train from our hotel which Thomas reckons was situated at Devo Park!!!!! It wasn't that bad!! Anyway made it to stampede with only 1 hiccup which wasn't too bad. The thing is huge, it is like a gigantic adelaide show with a few added extras. There are lots of free shows within the show, Thomas and cally saw a guy play this huge earth harp. ...

    ... for food, and not much of it was healthy, so we decided to embrace the greasy theme and settled for barbecued sausage (mine was wrapped in bacon... mmmmm). We sat and ate those whilst watching people riding the mechanical bull - not many people had much success with it, but we didn't give it a go ourselves.     ... there was so much choice and rather cheap too for the huge portion sizes! After a good chat, we decided to walk down to the river so Devon could show us around.
