      This morning we awoke for the last leg. After a grab-and-go breakfast at the hotel, we got back on the road heading for San Francisco. Within an hour we reached the Golden Gate Bridge. Which once again, characteristically, was shrouded in the "Bay-Gray" (a.k.a. Fog). But that's ok! It makes the experience more notable. We stopped at the vista point for a quick photo. I lost track of time but after what I guess was a couple of minutes, I realised we were winning, most of the flaming grass having been reduced to smouldering black earth.
