    This morning we awoke for the last leg. After a grab-and-go breakfast at the hotel, we got back on the road heading for San Francisco. Within an hour we reached the Golden Gate Bridge. Which once again, characteristically, was shrouded in the "Bay-Gray" (a.k.a. Fog). But that's ok! It makes the experience more notable. We stopped at the vista point for a quick photo. A little further on in the journey, we arrived at Muir Woods. While we struggled to find parking reasonably close by, ...

    ... it into my car. I high-tail it back down the road, passing the stream that had caused me such a headache the night before, now being innocently played in by a couple kids, almost to mock me. Needless to say I enjoyed the descent down the mountain a lot more without the fear of uncertainty and of my safety. I have learned the valuable lesson of doing at least some research to where I'm traveling and the limits of my four-wheeled compadre.

    ... about that when I had that view to look at, formations of birds flying overhead and a ton of adrenaline still coarsing through my body. I looked at the others and they were all just as knackered but we all felt the same. As critical a situation as that was, it was an intensely fun and entertaining experience. I was buzzing for ages afterwards and I'll never forget those few minutes of frantic team work, plus the sense of hilarious jubilation that followed.

    ... t mind running across a few while working, but I felt like a was going to puke from the sight and stench. I kept shoveling as she tried to show me several pressed weed specimens.
