... an up and coming neighborhood. But there is a run down apartment bldg/motel that backs up to this property and I am not comfortable buying a house that would be empty much of the time in a rather mixed area. My guess is that this area will continue to improve and this property will increase in value. If we were younger and looking to invest for the future this would be a good bet. But we are looking for a place to use in the winter and leave for long periods of time. ...

... went to see "American Sniper" at the IMAX theatre, followed by dinner and drinks at a local restaurant. The day went quickly, and we were on the road again towards Texas, just passing through Mississippi and Alabama so fast we barely had time to notice the state line signs.

... for abandoned bikes in the city and put red ribbons on them so the authorities know to remove them. Also once the ribbons are on the bikes, these bikes are declared fair game and anyone can take them. They do this because there is an overcrowding of bikes in the city and they are always running out of parking spaces for them.
