Time to let Nikki and Phil have some Kiwi Free time so it was on to the train and into the Big Apple. The trains are well kept and pleasant to travel in and the trip into the city gave us a chance to see the outlying suburbs from a backyard perspective. ... and relaxed a little. While I was in line, a little girl and her mom were ahead of me...the little girl still had a visitor's sticker on her shirt from the school we had just visited and when she saw me, her eyes lit up and she said hello. :)
Before I went into CVS, I walked past a woman I made brief eye contact with while she was on her phone...she was in obvious distress and was talking quietly ...

We stopped in Maryland for lunch - had to have some sort of crab of course. Found Baldwin's Crab House in Joppa, MD. - not far from the highway. It was a delicious meal - I had crab cakes that were mostly crab and just a little breading to hold it all together (made me think of J. Musch's crab cakes in Houston - yum).
