The weather was good heading north...missed most of the rain that was predicted on Monday...but boy did we hit a lot of bugs in Georgia. Our windshield was practically covered! Then, when the rain hit, Richard was hesitant to turn in the wipers...thought we'd have a blinding mess...but it was fine. We stayed in Wytheville, VA last night and got a good start this morning.

By the time we found the closer spot, the rain had subsided and we hopped inside from warm muggy air to freezing AC air. Brr. We were not dressed for this.
Despite all these ...
