I'm not a big fan of pools, or swimming, but I am so glad the villa has a pool! We got straight into our togs, then had a nice cool swim. Then we got out, and hung out, and now we're about to have dinner with Ellie, Lily, and their family.
... Piazza Mancini and that was a delightful surprise. A lot of the movies scene were shot here as well. We had a wonderful lunch of Spaghetti a la tonne. It was so fresh and so good. I love Cortona!

The rest of the day was unremarkable but passed fairly swiftly so it's ok. Millo came home and did more whining and crying (I swear he's getting worse) and Metta came home and was pretty nice as far as I can remember. Oh yes, and I did a drawing of her (I know I said I was going to do a drawing everyday, but I keep forgetting!) so I feel the evening wasn't a total waste of time.
