Friday Ed and Daniel Macareag took me to see Jed Sy and her brother Jong Pilapil. The two prisons are located about an hour out of Davao. The prison guards and inmates all know the two prisoners, who being model inmates in their respective institutions have risen to status that can only be categorized as Joseph like. Still trapped in the compound, they both none the less have been given accommodations and work in the prisons.
