... really yummy snack (that was complimentary)! By the way, you know I said that we were on the 32nd floor, yeah well the elevators were on the outside of the building (note Darrel calls these elevators death bubbles) so the view was really astounding. The elevators have the best view I think in the whole place – they could make a mint off of it, if only there were a way round all the guests wanting to get to their rooms. Anyway, will have to think that one ...
... few hours in relative tranquility -don't stay here! Whilst amazing there is nothing tranquil about that pool!
The other quite strange thing is the lift situation. You often need to change lifts to get to the top (only some lifts go to some floors). There is the added complexity of there being 3 towers. This is fine in itself...but it does seem to be very common to put on your bath robe to go to the pool and then to get back to your room end up in the foyer to change ...

... beautiful place, the airport I mean!!! It was so clean. We arrived at terminal three and had to hang around for four hours before catching our next flight to Barcelona on flight SQ68. But the coolest thing about the tour was learning about the history of Singapore, the people who make up the country and how they live. We literally spent 5-6 hours walking, talking, eating, seeing and learning about Singapore. ...
