*We dress up for dinner- at least by our standards. Singapore is a sophisticated place and our everyday attire is, well, a bit scruffy. It is the first time in 3 months that SG wears her 'posh' clothes,(relatively speaking and only a very limited selection) and it feels very strange. She hardly recognises herself in the mirror. Nor does AG!

Wow, what a start to an new adventure. We were staying close to the airport as we had an early morning flight. The wake up call never came...but, that was ok, as we are always up early. We headed down stairs and our cab was waiting so we thought we had plenty of time. When we got into the airport, we couldn't find Air Asia...that's because we were at the wrong airport. Whoops! We found there was a shuttle that we could take, so we ...
... Malaysia after all. An easy enough process but you must remember to get the car paperwork correctly stamped. No-one on the ground queries or reminds you, nor does anyone at the border actually make any effort to check that we are actually leaving in a car.
