And we pull up to our hotel to find a man taking a squat at the side of the hotels window taking a ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell????!! We weren't impressed with the area or the site we just saw. We all couldn't believe it. Then the bum wondered past us as we unloaded the bus, ...

Back to the ride over to Venice from mainland - the water ways were amazing to me. Boats and vessels of all shapes and sizes were like litter on the Laguna Veneta, (Venetian Lagoon) the water ways. Then, we didn't realise about the festival. There were two Tall Ship replicas, speed boats were churning by with toddler sized children perched on the bows holding onto the boats' rails. OOOOh shivers through my body watching ...
... we thought we would try to feed him some red meat. He ordered the filet with bacon, karl got pizza, mark lobster pasta, me lasagna. Ok that bacon on top of Kurt's steak... OMG, that was the most delicious thing ever. Like an explosion of flavor that was unreal. Wow! After dinner we walked down to the zattere to seek out gelato nico that was recommended in our apartment book. It's so pretty down there at night. We found the gelato and it was great!
