We saw wood carved crucifixes along the roadside and here and there on mountain sides. Our guide told us it was not a marking for accidents or anything tragic, it was just a place for hunters or woodsman to go and pray when they were away from the village.

The car is parked until we leave on Thursday.

so km. Not that that means anything as it could be a local from a town or
somewhere like that. I continue and am now looking for anyone at the roadside to
simply ask if the pass is open but with not a single person in sight I simply
    continue in hope.
Finally here comes a camper and behind it about 20 or so cars. yes, i

... would be going to Neuschwanstein Castle for the day. I was so excited to be able to see this castle, and it has been one of my top places to see since I was little. I met my guide, and soon our group was on our way! We had about a 2 hour train ride to the town where the castle was, and on the way our tour guide told us some history about the castle and different stories about the area and King Ludwig II, who built the castle. The castle was actually never finished, and was ...
