We arrived at Fontvielle.

We went to look around the streets at 5:00 in the afternoon.
While we were walking around the streets my brother split open his leg.
My Dad had to carry him back to the house.

The next day we went to Arles for a day trip to walk around, and look at all the Christmas stuff all around the streets and the markets.

... when we (well mostly Mikey) cooked up the confit de canard, topped off with obligatory duck fat potatoes, think provencal haricots vertes and a salad with the Carrefour mustard dressing we have become addicted to (thanks Anna and Rick!).

We also had some great meals out including delicious street food like chorizo and other Spanish style tapas, and a fabulous meal at a place Melisa and JB recommended on the corner of our street, sitting alfresco watching ...

... took a look at my rear wheel and started shaking his head...I guess it was bad. Anyway, they took a shot at it and managed to straighten it out by adjusting the spokes, so I was pretty much as good as new. While they worked on it I called Connie to turn around, but she saw me entering the shop as she was leaving town and was already there. Within 10 minutes I was back on my way and the start of the climb was right there.
