... of small hills and into the valley area that includes Avignon, closer to our venue for Friday night and Saturday night too.... A little town by the name of Villes-sur-Auzon was the one that we chose, and after arriving in the small town, it still took a little bit of hunting to find the campsite!

... and told us about a new business he started two years ago — doing wine dinners for groups of 10 to 15 people in the US, at their homes. It would be a lot of fun to have him and his chef in our home, so we are going to do our best to coordinate something with him in the next year or two.
Amazingly, we made the drive back to our home unscathed, arriving around 7:30pm, after a nearly 12 hour long wine tasting day!

... stopped by Nimes for an outside tour of the Roman Amphitheature as there was also summer concerts there.
Then we drove off to our final destination of this south of France trip: Cavanac near Carcassonne, some 2 hours drive away on highway, arriving before 8pm.
... Toured the town of Arles in the afternoon, amazing amphitheatre and the tour guide was a little to talkative. We were wilting in the extreme heat and he sat us all in the sun. Had a lovely walk around the town and he explained some historical things along the way.
Back to the ship to shower and change for dinner. We had gypsy dancers after dinner.
